eBay continues to hate on its customers eBay recently announced more changes on the horizon, some have already been put in place others however have yet to manifest. The two most controversial are of course sellers no longer being able to leave negative feedback for buyers and the Best Match default search results. Not being able to leave negative feedback has seen a huge backlash but more worrisome to some is the best match option. This will be based on the DSR or detailed seller rating of the sellers. These are comprised of sever different DSR's and averaged out. eBay instead of using that average is only looking at the shipping and handling DSR. The higher you are to a 5 star rating the higher you show in search results, however as anyone who has sold on eBay knows this is very very subjective. Many sellers worry this may be the end of their eBay business. This change goes into effect soon and only time will tell if eBay was right or if eBay was wrong - either way they sure haven't made friends with a lot of the their top customers.
